This is the second highest point of Ilha Grande with 990 meters. It is an important symbol of the Island for the Vila do Abraao and it can be seen from all over the place.       The trip needs about 3 or 4 hours for Up and 3 hs for Down. It´s hard but it´s a best way to discover the jungle of Ilha Grande. Exist many kind of birds, butterfly and monkey, some of their are big. Other animals like iguanas, snakes, squirrels and capybaras it´s easy to see       Depending on the angle and the distance from where you see it, you will discover different figures. From the Vila, you will see a parrot’s head; if you are closer it seems a dog, a rat and also an elephant.        From the top of the peak, you can see a huge landscape of the whole Island and its beaches.     Warning: Don't try to do this trail on your own; is a hard walk,  and very easy to get lost on the way; hire a SPECIALISED GUIDE, you will avoid dangerous situations and the guide will teach you about the local flora and fauna.
